The Tasman Rugby Union proudly governs the two sub-unions of Marlborough and Nelson Bays - encompassing 22 clubs.
For players, club rugby is an opportunity to experience rugby at the grassroots level and watch the development of future stars of the game.
The sub unions continue to feild sides at age grade representative level, as well as their senior Seddon Sheild sides - the Marlborough Red Devils and the Nelson Bays Griffins.
The proud histories of both sub unions combine to give their young players a pathway to higher honours via the Tasman Makos.
