Tasman selects Coach for National Sevens side

The Tasman Rugby Union has appointed Steve Dunn as the coach to take a Tasman team to the National Seven’s Tournament to be held in Queenstown on 9th & 10th Jan 2010.

Dunn had a successful playing career with Otago in the late 90’s and then for Nelson Bays from 2000 to 2003 and was selected for a NZ Divisional XV in 2003. An experienced 7’s player for Otago and for Nelson Bays a highlight of his playing days was being selected for the NZ 7’s trials in 2002.

Steve says he is looking forward to the coaching role as it gives him a chance to work with younger up and coming players and give back to the sport he has and continues to enjoy.
